On Saturday afternoon the MX Golf team traveled south to play host St. George's and Brooks at Newport Country Club.  The team was greeted at the course by former AD and Hall of Fame Football Coach Joe Lang.  The Zebras ran into a buzzsaw in the Dragons, who had three players shoot under par for the nine hole match.  The only player who was able to get on the scoreboard in the .5 - 6.5 loss was Connor Wright playing at #7 who was able to halve his match.  In the match with Brooks, the team saw much better success.  Earning points in the 5.5 - 1.5 win were #2 Howard Liu winning 3&2, #3 Ian King better is opponent 3&2, #4 Nolan Marsters coming in with a 3&2 win as well, followed by Ellie McCalmon who bested the Brooks player 4&3, #6 George Leness earning a halve and Connor Wright winning at #7 2&1.

The next stop for the Zebras will be the Kittansett Club on Wednesday to take on host Tabor and Lawrence Academy.
