The Middlesex Boys Varsity Tennis Team continued its strong start to the season with a 7-0 home victory over Governor's Academy for the team's 1
st ISL win.
The Zebras again leapt to an early lead in the doubles matches, sweeping all three to secure the first point of the match. Middlesex continued to keep the pressure on Gov's winning all the sets of the singles matches. Playing at #2, Declan Power '27 again won his match 6-0, 6-0 having not dropped a game in either of his first two singles matches. #3 Luke Felago '26, #4 Freddy Murphy '26 and #5 Hudson Hinkley '25 dominated their matches, winning 36 games while dropping only 5. #1 Lach McCaghren '26 and #6 Alex Barron '24 both kept continual pressure on their opponents and won comfortably.
The squad is as deep a team as any in recent memory and is also young, with only one senior on the team, suggesting a bright future for Middlesex Boys Tennis. Up next for the Zebras are challenging matches at home against Thayer on April 10
th and away at Nobles on April 13
