The tiger spirit was in full display for Homecoming Weekend in Braintree, as the Thayer boys hosted visitors Middlesex for a Class B showdown.  Thayer was well organized and maintained a high compete level throughout the match, particularly in the first half.  Jack Concannon had a strong performance in the net for Thayer and co-captain Tyler Monaghan was particularly good on both sides of the ball in midfield for the hosts.  With the score deadlocked at 0-0 at halftime, Middlesex turned up the intensity and moved the ball with greater precision from the beginning of the second half.  Hanad Garad '26 finished from close range within the first three minutes from an Olly Mylon '25 feed, and Mylon buried a chance nine minutes into the second half from a great pass by Bryan Mayhew '26.  Charlie Driscoll '25 latched on to a pullback cross from Hanad Garad for a side net tally and Long Nguyen '27 wrapped up the scoring on an assist from hard-working Colin Hope '26.  The Thayer boys competed with class until the final whistle and were unlucky not to hit the back of the net after a long cross came off the crossbar and just missed going over the line in the second half.  Declan Bergan, Oliver Axon, and Monaghan posed problems with their movement and technical quality throughout the day.  For Middlesex, Bear Tibbitt '25 was excellent in the midfield and Garad was very dangerous in attack.
