Girls' Cross Country ran hard to win against Rivers (18-43) and Austin Prep (24-34). Middlesex's Stella Curwin-Amfitheatrof led from the start, pulling off a decisive win. Cassidy Bruno finished second for Middlesex ahead of Rivers's Kendra Snell and a strong pack of three from Austin Prep, Victoria Tenreiro, Madi Valade, and Colleen Simmons. A sea of Middlesex red and white followed next, with Anika Ata in 7th place, Angela Huffer in 8th, Maggie Cabot in 9th, Pipsa Palatsi in 11th, and Katie Tantillo in 13th. It was a day for celebrating individual improvement as well, as every member of the Middlesex varsity squad clocked her home course personal best time.

The JV team celebrated an equally successful day, winning against Rivers 18-43, led by Middlesex's Allison Luo in first place. Marvelous Ugwu (placing fifth for Middlesex), Sue Hayashi, Charlotte Friedmann, Kassie Schaeberle, and Lucy Wu all ran home course personal best times in the JV race. 

The team looks forward to building on their forward momentum at Rivers next Friday.
