Middlesex Girls' Cross Country raced hard to pull off a win against Milton in the team's second home race of the season. Sadie Millett, Cate Corbett, Cassidy Bruno, and Milton's Claire Choe formed the lead pack, running together until Corbett and Millett opened up a lead in the final mile. Millett and Corbett both broke the school course record set by Millett last year, with Corbett placing first and Millett following closely behind in second. Choe finished in third and Bruno took fourth for Middlesex. Three Milton runners crossed the line next, followed by Middlesex's Katie Tantillo (8th), Anika Ata (9th), Catherine Bain (10th), and Kate McBride (11th), an impressive show of depth that clinched the win over Milton. 

In the JV race, 9th-grader Pipsa Palatsi took the win in just her second race for Middlesex, followed closely by her fellow 9th-grade teammate Grace Fundaro. Florence Morlock finished third for Middlesex in the JV race, placing 7th, and 9th-grader Allison Luo bested the time she ran last weekend by nearly two minutes to take 9th. Sue Hayashi and Iliana Tassev also achieved impressive gains over their first race, both taking minutes off their personal best time.
