St. Mark's hosted Middlesex on a drizzly Saturday afternoon as the ISL regular season got underway.  The hosts stayed disciplined and organized as a unit and were led by Jonathan Balzarini, who consistently won challenge after challenge throughout the match.  Benji Markle also put in a strong shift in the midfield for the Lions.  For Middlesex, two first half goals were scored by Teddy Fritzinger and another from Bryan Mayhew.  The hosts came out stronger in the second half and were rewarded for their efforts when Hugo Owens struck a rocket into the top corner from the top of the box to narrow the margin.  Hanad Garad responded quickly for Middlesex for the fourth tally.  Standouts for Middlesex included Bryan Mayhew, Bear Tibbitt, Olly Mylon, and Zach Miles.
