Middlesex Girls' Cross Country opened the season with a dominant 17-44 win against Austin Prep. Sadie Millett, Cate Corbett, and Cassidy Bruno ran to the front from the start, taking the top three places over Austin Prep's Victoria Tenreiro. Anika Ata and Stella Curwin-Amfitheatrof crossed the line next in 5th and 6th places respectively, followed by Mitchell Ladd (8th) and Katie Tantillo (9th) to round out the top varsity seven. 

In the JV race, Middlesex took the top five spots to win with a perfect score. Kate McBride led the way, followed by Sawyer Rogers (2nd) and new additions to the team Pipsa Palatsi (3rd), Allison Luo (4th), Colette Brille (5th), Iliana Tassev (8th), and Sue Hayashi (11th).

The team looks forward to competing against Milton at home next Saturday.
