Middlesex took to the road for a midweek clash with an organized and hard pressing Dexter Southfield side and put in a solid defensive performance in a 2-0 win.  Dexter was led from the front with Henry van den Bosch triggering the high pressure and Stefan Der Sarkissian picking up the loose balls in the midfield.  The first half saw much of the threat coming from the home team, as some sloppy execution led to several counterattacking opportunities.  Middlesex felt lucky to get into the halftime break with a 1-0 lead, courtesy of a Zach Miles finish from a Jonah Zaas service.  Middlesex figured out how to release the pressure with greater efficacy in the second half and were rewarding with several great scoring chances that were thwarted by an excellent performance in the Dexter net by Jacob Gottschalk.  The lead was extended by Sinjin Doelitzsch after a dynamic attacking run by Olly Mylon.  For Middlesex, Jeffrey Hernandez was the standout player, along with solid defending from Jonah Zaas, Zach Miles, and Bear Tibbitt in earning the shutout for the visitors.
