The Zebras traveled to Brookline to take on out-of-league opponent Dexter Southfield on a favorable Monday evening. The teams were evenly matched and went back and forth during the first half, resulting in a 6-6 tie. The Zebras came out strong in the second half and notched a two goal lead early, and the play went scoreless for the next 12 minutes as both teams were stymied by the talented goalies and strong defensive units. DS tied it up with 12 minutes remaining and then snuck one in with 9 minutes to go. Both teams had chances including some terrific takes by Middlesex, but DS held onto the lead. Molly Nye was the ground ball monster and Marg Matz, Caroline Cervini, Ali Petrone, Fin Crosby, Charley DiAdamo, and Esme Coes added points in the offensive end.
