The Zebras traveled North to NH to take on non-ISL rival Phillips Exeter. The Big Red took a 3 goal lead despite some strong defensive sets, but the Zebras hit the scoreboard with 15 minutes remaining. Exeter built the discrepancy scoring three more unanswered goals, but the Zebras refused to give up. The defense stiffened and the attack put two more goals up. Going into the second half down 3-8, the Zebras made a decision to dig in athletically and focus on the little things. The defense stymied the Exeter attack on many occasions and the attack rewarded their play with three unanswered goals to bring the game to 6-9. Unfortunately, the Zebras lost the momentum in a player down and the Big Red attacked scoring three goals to Middlesex's one in the last ten minute stanza. Still, the Zebras played their best half of lacrosse on the season at both ends and will use this to propel them into the final two weeks of the season.
