On a beautiful spring afternoon the MGolf squad took on Milton and Gov's in a tri-match. In our first home ISL match we were able to secure a 4.5-2.5 victory over Milton and a 5-2 victory over Gov's. Leading the way for the Zebras at # Lucy Wang played a brilliant match and defeated her Milton opponent 3&2 and Gov's player 1 up. Playing at #2 Andrew Yang was able to win the last hole to secure a 1 up victory over his Milton foe and closed the Gov's player out 2&1. Captain Andrew Cao playing at #3 was able to better both of the other players - 2 up on Milton and 3&1 on Gov's. Chase Tilson at # 4 was able to get up and down out of the bunker on the 9th hole to halve his Milton opponent and beat the Gov's player 2 up. Rounding out the scoring for the team was Ellie McCalmon who beat both players - Milton 3&1 and Gov's 2 up. Playing #7 for the team, Ellie has a team leading 7-1-1 record for the season thus far. Thursday afternoon the squad will square off against Rivers for our half of the home and home series. The Zebras won the previous match 4-3 at Pine Brook to open our season.
