Middlesex Wrestling welcomed Tabor Academy to the Room for midweek ISL tilt; still short a few reliable starters due to injury, the Zebras dropped a close result in the team score, but notched a some impressive wins along the way.
Senior Claire Yoon opened the scoring for the home team with a dominant win and first period fall at 106, followed by sophomore Katherine Deng and senior co-captain Maya Dougé picking up forfeits at the next two weight classes. Junior Kimberly Guzman Flores wrestled two tough periods against two-time National Prep Champion Natalia Accorsi of Tabor before falling in the third frame, and junior Fiona Fittante thrilled the home fans with a rethrow and a headlock to secure a first period win by pin fall. Junior co-captain Marcus Dougé and sophomore Harper Edwards also scored impressive first period falls to round out the scoring for the Zebras.
