Nobles took all three points in a critical match in the last two weeks of the ISL season. Middlesex started with energy, possession, and some early chances, but the game turned in the 6th minute when a long ball played to St. John was sent into the penalty area and was misjudged allowing a Nobles attacker to pass the ball into an open net. Middlesex tied the match just seven minutes later when Olly Mylon found Teddy Fritzinger for a close range header to tie the score. The rest of the first half was even and ended 1-1. Nobles came out the hungrier side in the second half and capitalized on a barrage of long balls to their athletic front line. Ali Coleman finished from inside the six yard box after Antonio Cosentino ran the length of the field from center back to get to the byline to pull the ball back for a 2-1 lead with a half hour remaining. The game was sealed in the 68th minute when a penalty kick was awarded to Nobles and converted by St. John. Both second half goals for Nobles came on end-to-end transitions after sustained attack for Middlesex. The speed and aggression to get from end to end and go directly to goal proved to be the difference in the game.
