Lawrence Academy hosted Middlesex on an unseasonably hot Wednesday in early October.  Lawrence's Henry Senyo almost helped the hosts to a dream start in the first minute with some strong pressure on the Middlesex buildup play and a quick transition that resulted in a near chance in the first minute.  The first fifteen minutes of the match saw both teams getting good looks in the attacking areas, but nothing came together for either side.  Middlesex went on to score three first half goals from Bryan Mayhew, Teddy Fritzinger, and Aidan Falvey to go into the halftime break up 3-0.  The lead was extended to five within the first four minutes of the second half on finishes from Sinjin Doelitzsch and Fritzinger before Bryan Mayhew added a sixth on the hour.  Lawrence's dangerous transition play gained momentum in the latter stages of the match, as Eyob Hawgood, Henry Senyo, Henrick Boahen, and Dawit Hawgood continued to push forward until they were rewarded with a silky goal by Senyo in the 87th minute.  Both teams stayed out of the referee's notebook with competitive and clean play throughout the match.
