Last Saturday, we had a gorgeous day on campus to host Nobles. Some hard-fought matches, with lots of learnings from each match. Megan Shi stepped in to battle a tough opponent – the score didn't reflect the many epic battles back and forth and deuce points that decided the fate of the game. Megan worked hard to stay in every point.
 
Co-captain, Marissa Fadley played another lefty, a rare instance in this league, both hitting aggressive baseline shots. Marissa stayed composed and tough, using her baseline game, but also mixing in some slice shots to throw the opponent off of their game. Strategy is an active part of this game, always being ready to evaluate and make changes when needed.
 
The doubles matches were also eventful, with Sadie Schuler and Sophia Schubnel putting in their best efforts against a very challenging team, Sophia even managed to ace their number one player!
 
Lastly, we were able to play some competitive exhibition matches, where our team could practice their doubles strategies and duke it out in an impressive tiebreaker win with Ally Haines and Sadie Goodwin.
