Nobles took control of the first few draws leading to some quick goals in the first minutes of play. The Zebra defense stiffened, however, and began to match the athletic play of the Nobles potent attack. Brooke Nye led the defensive unit with several caused turnovers while Siena Bernardinelli had terrific one-v-one defense and slides to hold back the Nobles attackers. The offense moved the ball well against the tough Nobles zone, but couldn't capitalize enough to even the score. Still, the Zebras never folded and played solid defense and offense until the final minutes of play. While the score was not what the zebras wanted, they came out of the game with more attacking tools, and tougher defensive unit, and more confidence heading into the Milton game on Wednesday.
