This was a game of two halves. In the first half, Middlesex was fighting on defense and creating offense by breaking down the press. In the first quarter, Middlesex frustrated a talented Pingree team and held them to just 9 points. In a game of runs, Pingree made four threes in the next quarter to take the lead for the half (23-12). In the second half, despite an extraordinary effort on defense, Middlesex struggled offensively. Pingree slowly pulled away. Shah '25 was named player of the game with 11 points.
