Middlesex Girls' Soccer hosted their final home match on Chapel Field Wednesday, taking on powerhouse BB&N on a seasonal November afternoon. The Knights came into the contest undefeated through the last two complete seasons, last losing in 2019. MXGVS honored their seven amazing seniors prior to the game, and then the action got under way. BB&N came out of the gates quickly, but Middlesex provided a stiff resistance defensively, and counter-attacked smartly to create some nice opportunities. Unfortunately, we weren't able to turn any of those chances into goals, and the defense finally relented on a well-placed corner kick by BB&N as they went up 1-0. The Knights added another before the halftime whistle. MXGVS kept up the stellar effort and persistence through the entire second, again periodically creating some chances, but unable to cash in, while BB&N extended their lead with two goals to bring it to the final 4-0 score.

Middlesex concludes their regular season with a trip to St. George's Saturday, where we hope to Slay The Dragon!
