On another excellent day to run the JV and Varsity teams raced together at Nobles. Captain Matt Wing pulled out a well raced victory in 17:13 with Vedant (18:07) and Nick (18:44) racing excellent PR's for the season. Captain Peter Favero ran a conservative race was able to finish only 13 seconds off his season PR with a 18:46. Luke (19:01), Henry (19:06), and Owen (20:06) all ran PRs as well, with Owen cutting off a full 41 seconds to round out the varsity seven. Tim (20:16), Raymond (21:03), Andy (20:30), Isaac (21:34), and Ben (21:35) scored for the JV team with Isaac cutting off a minute and 16 seconds off his best time. Kaya Surmeli also finished in a time of 22:21 which was a two and a half minute PR for him with Martin Erath cutting off similar time finish with a 22:51 after cutting 2:07 off his previous best. 

After being surprised by a very strong finish by Nobles on their home course we lost to them by 5 points. We are clearly looking forward to our next meeting with Nobles with the ISL championship race as we believe that our training will bring us much better times for the end of the season. We were able to pull out decisive victories against Lawrence and Rivers on both the varsity and JV sides.
