The Girls' Varsity team hosted Groton School on a beautiful Friday afternoon after days of heavy rain. Middlesex had momentum at the start of the game, but gave up two goals early on. MX certainly had some close opportunities, but couldn't find the back of the net until the second half of the game. The team bounced back and played with more urgency, resulting in 5 goals in 30 minutes. Grace Fisher-Smith '24 opened the scoring off an assist from Ashwini Menon '25 9 minutes into the half. Mia Williams '23 then followed with a goal 10 minutes later and Ally Haines '24 recorded 2 goals in under three minutes. Grace Fisher-Smith wrapped up the scoring with her second goal in the 79th minute of play. It was a great team effort on Chapel field.
