Boys' Cross Country traveled to Brooks Saturday afternoon for a quad meet in perfect weather. This led to the entire varsity seven running their best times of the season, with Vedant Deokar finishing first for us and breaking 18 with a time of 17:44 to finish second behind one of the best runners in the ISL. Captain Peter Favero was able to run his best time of the season (18:06) and seemed back in form again while Nick Constantino (18:10) once again ran a significant PR. Luke Taylor (18:49), Henry Hovath (18:40), Joey Casper (19:33), and Owen Barry (19:35) finished out the strong Middlesex varsity finish.
The JV team was able to nearly sweep every time by finishing in 10 of the first 11 spots. Tim Cassidy started with a significant lead that he never lost and had his strongest finish of the season (20:01) even though he was essentially racing against himself for the entire race. Isaac Scribner, Raymond Li (20:43), Andy Chefetz (20:58), and captain Antonio Ometeotl (21:04) finished out the scoring five with Anton Balyuk (20:58) and Luke Zhang (21:42) displacing all but one other runner. Terry Qi (22:28) and Sixing Wang (23:18) ran the most significant PR's on the team this week, great work team!
