The Middlesex Varsity team traveled to Brooks on Saturday afternoon for a very competitive match. Both teams fought hard, but Brooks managed to find the back of the net in the first half. Ella Labib '24 played a strong game in nets and made several big saves to keep Middlesex in the game. There's no doubt that Middlesex came out with some fire in the second half and they created several great opportunities for themselves up front. The team possessed the ball well and won 50-50 battles throughout the field. Middlesex was close to scoring on multiple occasions, but the team ran out of time. MXGVS will host Governor's Academy on Chapel Field this Wednesday.
