Middlesex Boys' Varsity Basketball lost a heartbreaker in its home opener on Friday evening.  The Zebras fell to Class A Cats Academy despite 17 points from freshman Nick Teller, including a 3 pointer with 5 seconds remaining to force overtime.  Teller made 5 triples along the way.  Seniors Onyera Chibuogwu had 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists, Owen Olsen had 14 points and 7 rebounds, and Lucas DeGreeff contributed 10 points and 8 rebounds. Middlesex travels to Governor's Academy on Wednesday, 12/8 in the ISL opener.
