Notes:
Middlesex showed heroic character over 90 minutes in Needham against a talented and well-organized St. Sebastian's team.  The first 20 minutes were dominated by the home team, as they pressed effectively and looked to counterattack quickly.  After weathering that first spell, which included a disallowed goal for an offside call, Middlesex slowly grew into the game, made some tactical shifts, and were on level footing headed into the halftime break.  The second half was a different story, as Middlesex became the dominant team who looked most likely to score and take home the three points.  In the end, the open looks on goal were not taken with conviction and the final score line was a deserved 0-0 draw.  George Lin and Sky Platt were excellent in marshalling the backline for Middlesex and Jake Zaas was a consistent threat on goal in the second half.  Emerging from a challenging week without conceding a goal is testimony to the ways in which this team is becoming increasingly interconnected and playing with unity and great competitiveness.
