We had our best performance since the first game of the season last night. The girls came out ready to compete against a talented Lawrence team. The defensive effort was extraordinary for both teams. For Middlesex, O'Gara '20, Kommineni '22, and Poplyk '21 gave outstanding defensive efforts. Big rebounds and stops kept us only down by 10 at the half. In the second half, Middlesex struggled to match Lawrence's offense. For every three, we scored two, and eventually the gap widened. Nonetheless, the Middlesex girls played the entire game like we were down by 2. The coaches were proud of this effort.
