Senior captain Tyler Gelormini scored his 1,000th point with 6:35 remaining in the first half to give MX a 15-13 lead.  MX would keep the lead into the halftime (28-24) and until the final minute of the game. Gelormini's 9 points in the first half led the way.  Midway through the second half, MX opened up the lead to twelve behind 3 point baskets by Owen Olsen (13 points) and Matt Pelletier (14 points). Nobles would make a run of its own and would take the lead in to the last minute. Down 52-51 with :18 remaining, senior captain Anthony Porras was fouled and made both free throws to recapture the lead and eventual victory. 

Tyler Gelormini, a four year starter and two year captain, becomes the sixth 1,000 point scorer in Middlesex basketball history and now stands at 1,003 points total.  The other members of the 1,000 point Club at Middlesex include Charles Field '95, Tom Lang '06, Scott Anderson '09, Rod Odom '10, and Aaron Swenson '14. 

Middlesex now stands at 9-3, 3-2 in the ISL and will host Lexington Christian Academy Friday at 5:00 PM and then will visit ISL foe, Milton Academy on Saturday at 3:00 PM in Milton.
