Middlesex Girls' Soccer hosted Milton Academy on a glorious September afternoon on Chapel Field. Both teams played hard from the opening whistle. Milton scored on a deep shot from outside the box midway through the half and held on for a 1-0 halftime.
Both teams continued to press hard for chances, and Middlesex got on the board quickly as Taryn Gillis found an opening to score twice in the span of 10 minutes during the opening portion of the second half. Not to be denied, Milton kept pushing forward, and were eventually rewarded for their efforts when they knotted the contest inside of 10 minutes remaining. The teams played hard to the final whistle, with the 2-2 result standing as the finish score.
Middlesex goes back out on the road, as they travel to Lawrence Academy in a midweek ISL tilt.
