The Middlesex Girls' Soccer team hosted Tabor Academy Wednesday at Chapel Field, on a spectacular late September afternoon.
Â
The girls started off well, playing good team defense, and moving the ball to each other freely. A lone misplay in the defensive third late in the first half resulted in the lone tally for Tabor, who held a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Â
Middlesex looked to continue their positive play going into second half, but it wasn't meant to be. Tabor opened the second stanza by notching four goals in the first ten minutes to shut the door. Middlesex got on the board with 15 minutes to play, on a great strike from Taryn Gillis '22.
Â
The Zebras will look to get back on the good foot when they host Milton Academy on Saturday.
