The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Tennis team won a close match against Rivers 9 - 6 Thursday afternoon continuing its winning streak to 3 consecutive contests. 

Senior captain Maud McCole led the Zebras by good example, going after everything and demonstrating determination on the court at #1 singles. Neha Kommineni '22 and Marissa Fadely '22 each won one set at #2 & #3 respectively. Averill Emery '20, Jessica Andrews '21, and Margaret Rand '19 all won both their sets and secured the overall win before heading into doubles. 

All the doubles matches were close and exciting. Ultimately, #2 doubles team McCole & Emery won their match 8 - 4, scoring the last point for MX.

The team looks forward to playing and out-of-league match against Dexter-Southfield this Wednesday.
