The Zebras picked up a big win against Lawrence due to skill and team improvement at both ends of the field.  While both teams had turnovers in the first half, Middlesex was able to bounce back quickly from these moments with support and empowerment from teammates both on and off the field.  Lawrence maintained the lead or remained tied with the Zebras until 5:23 remained in the first half.  The Zebras then went on a 3-1 scoring streak to secure a 9-6 lead going into the second half. 

In the second half, Middlesex had good control and patience in the attack and big plays on defense with the help of Izzy Allieri, Nico Roark, Olivia Clark, Brooke Nye, Pop Poplyk, and goalie Annabel Ayer.  The draw was controlled by Daisy Boyton, Carly Tilson, and Hannah Barron.  Seven players added goals to the 13 goal tally including: Hayden Monahan, Nico Roark, Lizzie Ayer, Ris Hurley, Alex Fehnel, Hannah Barron, and Syd MacKeigan.  Mackeigan also notched 3 assists on the day.
