Jason Saharia '19 was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning to cap a thrilling comeback victory for the Middlesex baseball team against Nobles on April 13.
Nobles scored first in their half of the third inning but an RBI ground rule double by Kyle Wolff '22 tied the score in the bottom of the inning. Nobles plated three unearned runs in the top of the fourth to take a 4-1 lead.
The Zebras cut the deficit to 4-2 in the fifth on another RBI hit by Wolff and tied the score at 4-4 in the sixth courtesy of a clutch two run double by Ben Clark '22.
After Cole Cleary '20 retired the side in order in the top of the seventh, Middlesex started their winning rally on a walk by Kevin Campbell '20. After a bunt by Marc Portlock '20 was misplayed, Eoin Morrissey '22 reached on a bunt single, setting the stage for Saharia's walk off HBP.
Cleary was credited with the win on the mound and Wolff had three hits and Morrissey and Kobe LeDuc '21 two each for the Zebras.
Middlesex returns to action when they travel to Milton on Wednesday, April 17.
