The Boys' Varsity Hockey team got off to a great start scoring two first period goals against Brooks and never looked back. The win gave Middlesex a split of the two game series with Brooks this season. Alex Rivet had the opening goal on a blistering wrist shot on a nice pass from Kyle Heath at 3:54. Heath then followed up with a goal of his own making a nice deke on the Brooks goaltender and scoring right along the ice. Brian Cloherty closed out the scoring with a power play goal in the second period at 12:33 with assists going to Henry Andres and Nick Angelis. Senior goalie Joe Stanizzi stopped all 28 shots to post his fourth shutout of the season.
