As MX's first semester came to an end, the Zebras hosted Pomfret in a varsity only match. Playing #2, senior Syona Shah contended with a player who could hit winners from almost anywhere on the court, but by keeping the ball deep  and then short, Syona prevailed in three tight games. At #3, junior Averill Emery lost the first game to her skilled opponent, but quickening her racket preparation and taking control of the T, Averill won the next three games to take the match. Senior Margaret Rand at 4, sophomore Natalie McCall at 5, sophomore Amelia Stephens at 6, and junior Dahlia Galante at 7 all won their matches 3-0. It was a strong end to the first semester for the Zebras, as they head off for a well-earned semester break.
