Middlesex hosted BB&N on Friday and the Zebras prevailed 6-1. At #2 senior Syona Shah won 3-0, using varied shot placement to overcome a hard-hitting opponent. At #3 junior Averill Emery also won 3-0, hitting with power to the back. Also winning their matches 3-0 were senior Margaret Rand at #4 and sophomore Natalie McCall at #5. At #6 sophomore Amelia Stephens found herself in a tough battle, but she eventually prevailed in four long games, while at #7 junior Dahlia Galante refound the form that had won her the opening game to close out her match victoriously with a strong fifth game.
