Middlesex traveled to Roxbury Latin to take on one of the ISL's top teams on Wednesday and came away on the losing end of a 3-2 score.

Roxbury Latin drew first blood with three runs in the bottom of the third but Middlesex responded in the top of the fourth with a two run single from senior Derek DeMarzo. Despite threatening to tie the game, the score stood for the remainder of the contest.

Kevin Campbell and Cole Cleary split the pitching duties for Middlesex and each managed a good outing against the powerful Roxbury Latin lineup.

Middlesex returns to action on Saturday when they host BB&N at 2 pm in an Alumni Weekend contest.
