The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Tennis team lost its match against Nobles this Saturday 0 - 15. With temperatures in the 40s and cloudy skies overhead, the match was played in chilly conditions not typically associated with tennis.

With the exception of the #1 singles match, in which captain Helen Lasry '18 did not finish her sets due to injury, the Nobles strong, experienced lineup outhit and outpaced the Zebras. The freshman Nobles player currently ranked #7 in MA and #14 in New England showed her credentials on the court at #4 singles. The Middlesex players viewed the elevated level of play as a chance to improve their individual games. Spirits were indeed high as the team went into the long Patriot's Day weekend looking forward to some well-deserved rest. 

The squad will pick up practice again on Tuesday to prepare for its match home against Milton Academy Wednesday afternoon.
