The opening game of ISL competition started with very cold shooting by both teams.  Governor's managed to pull out to a 23-12 halftime lead.  In the second half, the poor shooting continued for the Zebras as Govs ran away with the victory.  MX was led by co-captain Julez Howell's 8 points.
