Notes:            BB&N hosted Middlesex for an exciting night game match up under the lights, and the entertainment factor did not disappoint. BB&N scored in just the third minute, as Caleb Hajian was left unmarked at the back post for a settled touch and open finish. Kwabena Kwakwa was slipped in on goal by Josh Quirk within a minute, and Kwakwa buried his chance to level the score at 1-1 after four minutes. BB&N defended, countered, and won corner kicks effectively for the rest of the half, and Middlesex could not accomplish much with their lengthy spells of possession. The second half saw Middlesex play with more purpose and exert much more pressure on the BB&N net. After a few close calls over the first fifteen minutes of the second half, Andrew Parker laid a well-weighted ball into the path of Jacob Charles on the left side of goal and the senior opened his hips and drilled a curling ball into the side net for the 2-1 lead. With about three minutes left in the match is was the same combination, but this time it was from the right side, as Charles buried the ball to the other side panel from the top of the box to seal the 3-1 road win for Middlesex. BB&N was resolute and played with heart and hustle for the entire 90 minutes. Jack Pappendick was outstanding in reading and breaking up play along the BB&N back line all night, and Jacob Charles stepped up with two great finishes in the second half to decide the contest for the visitors. It was an intense and competitive match played with great spirit and positive sportsmanship from both teams.
