Notes:            Middlesex traveled to Nobles on Halloween and finished with a share of the points and a 0-0 score line. The match was a contrast in styles, as Nobles played a direct long ball style to seek opportunities for their two talented attackers, Harry Roberts and Michael Balleani, to go to goal. They each had a good chance from outside the box that was held by the Middlesex keepers, and they created a cross in the final ten minutes that trickled through the keeper inside the six-yard box to be cleared off of the goal area by a retreating Liam Tasker. Apart from four moments for Nobles, the match was largely controlled by the Middlesex midfield and attack. Haydn Herrema was excellent at winning long balls and clearances from the Nobles back line and distributing them right back into the attack. The chances for Middlesex were in abundance, as Kwabena Kwakwa, Anyolo Makatiani, Josh Quirk, and Jacob Charles had multiple open looks at goal from inside the penalty area, but just could not find the finish on the day. The second half saw large spells of play when the ball stayed exclusively in the Nobles end, and in the end the luck was not with Middlesex, as they simply could not finish with a winner. The defensive unit of Krayer, D'Alessandro, Goorno, Tasker, and Lin were excellent at winning the long balls and containing Roberts and Balleani, but a few chances were there for the Nobles attackers to find their own winner. Keepers Kenyon Pelletier and Alfonso De Vito combined for their eighth shutout of the season. While the draw was a difficult result based on the performance of the Middlesex team, the Nobles team defended well and their keeper, Joe Todd, played very well. Both teams should be proud of their effort and attitude, and the fans were treated to an exciting and entertaining match, despite the lack of goals.
