Notes:            The recent monsoon season forced the tilt between Middlesex and Lawrence on to the Herter turf field for the first October match up. The game settled after some back and forth for the first fifteen minutes until Walker Massey took a feed from Josh Quirk with his back to goal and turned on his first touch to lash the ball into the roof of the net for the 1-0 lead for Middlesex. It was Kwabena Kwakwa's turn in the 28
th minute, as he accelerated into the box past a few defenders and finished from point blank range. Ollie Cheever finished the first half scoring a minute later when he turned in an effort from Justin Krayer in front of the net after a corner kick. With the half time score at 3-0, Lawrence continued to work hard, stay compact, and the goalkeeping of Brian Underhill was phenomenal. Justin D'Alessandro took the score to 4-0 on the hour, as he played a seeing eye left footed shot in off of the post from 25 yards out. Ten minutes later, Amad Miller capitalized on the consistent counterattacking threat posed for Lawrence, as he got on to the end of a feed from Travis Perrault and finished inside the box. Josh Quirk and Anyolo Makatiani rounded out the scoring for Middlesex to take the final tally to 6-1. For Lawrence, Brian Underhill was immense in the goal and Amad Miller and Andrea Colmenares worked tirelessly in the midfield. Andrew Parker stood out in the Middlesex midfield, and was key to the amount of possession enjoyed by the home team. There were no cards in the match, and the effort was a positive one to the final whistle.
