Notes:             Rivers travelled to Middlesex for a midweek clash in blustery weather, and one goal in each half for Middlesex saw them through to a 2-0 win.  The combination of Aidan Davock and Nate Sherman were consistently dangerous, along with midfield help from Jonah Berg and Whit Cadwallader for Rivers.  The scoring opened in the 19^th minute, as Anyolo Makatiani was through on goal and tackled from behind in the box for a penalty kick.  Josh Quirk stepped up and coolly dispatched the spot kick for the 1-0 lead.  The score line stayed at 1-0 through to halftime, and Rivers applied more pressure in the second half that was sustained through strong defending by Justin Krayer, Justin D'Alessandro, George Lin, and Zack Goorno.  With 12 minutes left on the clock, Kwabena Kwakwa split the Rivers back line with a precise through ball to Josh Quirk, who raced behind, sealed the defender, and finished the breakaway chance for the 2-0 final.  Kenyon Pelletier and Alfonso De Vito combined for their seventh shutout on the season, and Michael Webber stood out for Rivers in their net.
