Notes:             Middlesex hosted a feisty and determined St. Sebastian's team at the end of their Parents' Weekend, and the two teams produced an intense and close match to the delight of the fans.  The first half ended at a 0-0 deadlock, with the Arrows defending well, and Middlesex creating a handful of chances but not capitalizing.  In the second half, Middlesex increased their possession and put a good deal of pressure on the visiting backline until Josh Quirk walked in alone on the keeper's right and played a rolling ball backwards inside the of six to Kwabena Kwakwa for the simplest of finishes to take the 1-0 lead.  That lead lasted just minutes, as Seb's were awarded a penalty kick that was converted by Owen Smyth in the 60th minute.  The intensity of play and number of chances dialed up several notches over the last 30 minutes, as Seb's fought doggedly to preserve the draw and Middlesex probed to find openings to attack the net.  Justin Charles did a nice job of relieving pressure and Gabe Twohig was consistently aggressive in challenging and winning loose balls in the midfield for the visitors.  After a few great chances that keeper Griffin Wagner kept out of the net, and a post that was hit by Jacob Charles, the winner was found with just seven minutes left on the clock.  After a Middlesex corner was cleared out of bounds, Justin D'Alessandro threw the ball towards Anyolo Makatiani, and the loose ball came to Justin Krayer who played the ball to the feet of Jacob Charles.  This drew three defenders, so Charles played the ball to the feet of Kwabena Kwakwa 20 yards from goal.  Kwakwa took a set up touch and fired the ball into the net for the eventual winner.  Seb's fought until the last whistle, but the score ended 2-1 for the hosts.  Both teams played with great spirit and resilience, and deserve to be proud of the effort throughout the ninety minutes.
