Middlesex had a sweet victory over Dana Hall, which was a great way to start off the semester break. The Zebras were fired up for this game and set the tone right away with a dogged defensive effort. On offense, the team struggled, taking great shots that went in and out throughout the game. However, Middlesex did not let up on their relentless pressure defense, which kept them 2-8 points behind Dana throughout the game. Finally, in the second half, the senior captains brought offensive life to the team. Sophie '18 made two threes to give Middlesex the lead with around 4 minutes to go, and Maria '18 got fouled and went to the line twice in the final moments of the game and she went 4/4 to put Middlesex in the lead by two. A great effort by all, and we are hoping to build off this momentum as we head to Maine to face Berwick Academy this Wednesday.
