The Zebras traveled to Phillips Exeter, a Class A rival for a mid week match-up. Exeter came out of the gates with quickness and strength taking a 5-1 lead with 3:47 remaining in the half. Middlesex closed the gap with 24 seconds remaining taking the team into the second half with a three goal deficit. With 15:30 remaining, the home team had an 8-5 lead with both teams trading goals, but the Zebras went on a nice run, tying the game at 8 with13:45 remaining. Unfortunately, Exeter answered and took a four goal lead with 6:56 left on the clock. With terrific draw controls by Gildehaus, MacKeigan, and Yonce, the Zebras gained possession, notched two more goals to close gap, but fell short as the time dwindled. Bevacqua led the scoring with four and seven additional players added stats on the offensive end.
