            An idyllic, sunny fall afternoon was the setting for a stalemate in ISL Boys' Soccer action, as Middlesex created the lion's share of scoring opportunities but came up empty-handed in a 0-0 draw.  The hosts, Lawrence Academy, put out a physical midfield and featured some confident attackers in the first half.  The opening 45 minutes were not the best display of team play for Middlesex, but the second half showed a great deal of character.  Juniors Josh Quirk and Jacob Charles consistently created quality chances in attack, and Haydn Herrema and Jack Lousararian worked tirelessly in controlling the midfield in the second half.  While the team was disappointed not to come away with a win, the effort and determination was excellent in the second half, against a quality opponent in Lawrence.
