On Saturday, January 28, Girls' Squash traveled to Andover, to face a deep Andover squad. Though the Zebras played some of their best squash of the season, they were not able to break through in any of the individual matches and lost them all. At #1 senior Olivia Gish showed great reflexes and power, but her opponent proved to have too many shots. At #2 sophomore Mira Handa came out strong, with lots of low kill shots, but the first game just slipped away from her, and after that her powerful opponent gradually strengthened her hold on the match. Senior Pennie Gould played close games at #4 but couldn't quite break through; though she was often in control of rallies, her opponent's counterpunching proved too much. At #6 senior Grace Crozier showed great power and length, but couldn't quite get her opponent off the T consistently.  The girls learned a lot from their matches and are excited for next week's contests.
