The Middlesex Boys' Varsity Squash team traveled to Pomfret School this Wednesday for a tough matchup. The Zebras, coming off an impressive victory at Portsmouth Abbey, hoped to leave Pomfret with another impressive win. It was a competitive match, with every game being close and hard-fought. The team battled hard at the one, four and seven sports but ultimately fell short of victory. Chad Arle '17 pulled off an impressive win in the fifth game playing against a strong opponent. Reid Parisi '17 also conquered his opponent in a 3-0 victory. Andre Megliola '18 once again pulled off a crucial victory at the three spot. Likewise, David Hitzrot '20, in the deciding match, won 3-0 against his opponent, bringing the team back from a 2-3 deficit. With this close win, the boys improved their record to 4-2 on the season. They look ahead to a challenging schedule, hoping to end the season with a winning record.
