The Zebras again fell short at the start of the game. Middlesex had trouble keeping possession and took too many defensive chances, leaving the unit vulnerable. Down 1-6 in the first half, the Zebras rallied, made a few adjustments and stepped up the intensity for the remainder of the half. They chipped away at the deficit, bringing the score to an even 6-6 at halftime. In the second half, the defensive unit completely shut down the Milton offense and the Zebras began lighting up the scoreboard at the offensive end. Solid ball movement and smart play sent the Zebras on a scoring streak, eventually ending the game with a 13 goal run and final score of 14-6. The Zebras will go back to work on the practice field on Thursday and Friday in preparation for a big ISL matchup with Thayer Academy on Saturday, April 23rd.
