The Middlesex (7-9) Boys' Varsity Basketball team upset Thayer (13-6) behind the scoring duo of seniors Austin Dorsey (game high 28 points) and Brandon Shaw (25 points). Dorsey dropped 17 of his points in the first half including 4 of his 5 three-point baskets in the game to lead MX to 31-21 halftime lead.  Shaw countered in the second half with 18 of his 25.  Sophomore Michael Doherty was also in double figures with 11 points to go with his 11 rebounds.  Senior James McGrath had a career-high 7 assists and junior Michael Immerman had 11 rebounds to go with 2 emphatic blocked shots.  MX returns to action in the Cage vs. St. Sebs Friday night at 6:00PM, followed by a Saturday matinee vs. Worcester Academy at 3PM.
