Boys' Varsity Basketball opened the 2016-2017 season Wednesday afternoon at Dexter Southfield, falling 67-35 to the hosts. Freshman Tyler Gelormini and Eamon O'Malley got the start in their very first game of their Middlesex careers. Gelormini responded with a game high 13 points. O'Malley had 5 points, 3 blocks and 2 rebounds. Junior Kevin McGrath contributed 7 points and 5 rebounds. Junior Kai Morris came off the bench to generate 5 points, 4 steals, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Sophomore Kabelo Tsotetsi was a also a bright spot off the bench with 2 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds.
